Taking a Leap

This August we are LEAPING into

traveling to raise support! Wesley’s last day at his job will be August 2nd and from there we will hit the road. We will plan to visit many states, churches and individuals.

We have been preparing ourselves for this time through prayer and trusting the Lord. We are trusting the Lord that He will open doors for us. We are trusting Him with our finances since we are leaving the security of Wesley’s steady job. We are trusting Him with our car that it keeps up with wherever the Lord says to go. As we say this to you we are constantly saying this to ourselves. We have to cling to this because there is no way we can do this on our own.

This past month we have reached out to many churches and still have more to contact. This is not as easy as it sounds. There is a lot of work that goes into communication and planning with these churches. We have also been reaching out to individuals for support and even connecting us with their home churches.

How can you help? We need more connectors! We have some amazing connectors on our team and we are in need of more. If you go to a Church that supports missions would you be willing to connect us? We would love to get connected with a church you know! If you are not sure how to do that, please reach out to us and we can talk.

Prayer Requests: Please join us in prayer as we hit the road for an extended period of time. We have a “start” date but we do not have an “end” date. We have a third of our monthly support raised right now. We can only do so much, but God is omnipotent. Please pray for doors to open as we speak at churches and with individuals!

Praise Reports: Reese is growing so big and healthy! She will be 6 months old this week and wow does time fly! Wesley loves his job (Boys & Girls Club), he is now leading the 4th grade group and does sports with all of the elementary ages. Also, I (Rebekah) joined a new nonprofit organization to help youth. They have been delayed by covid and just started their first program! I have been working with kindergarten through 3rd grade. We use creative arts to teach kids how to express themselves. I am really enjoying working with these kids and hope to be a light to them!
