Is that how the saying goes? lol, it has been a BUSY month to say the least! I am writing to you from Port Huron, Michigan! We have been here for almost two weeks! Before we left, Wes was able to speak at our home church to kickoff their Missions conference. On the way here, we were able to stop in Raleigh, NC and speak at 2 Sunday School classes, as well as see family there and in Ohio! Since being in Michigan we have been able to meet with 2 Mission’s Pastors. We were also able to give an update at a small group last Sunday and this Sunday we were able to present at Mt. Pleasant Bible Church. God continues to open doors even when we don’t know where to knock. Reese also got to see snow for the first time!
Michigan Adventures
We are leaving tomorrow 11/30 to start our trip around Michigan! We will be going to St. Louis, Gladwin, Hudsonville, Dorr & Jackson. We will be meeting with a Pastor, old friends and supporters. We are super excited to see how God is putting everything together. Please be praying for safe travels! Our car is starting to have trouble starting at times. We are unsure if it is a major or minor fix as it does it so randomly. Please be praying the car will keep up with all the miles we put on it.
From The Heart
God is always faithful, God continues to show us that even when we feel lost or like “support raising” is never ending he reminds us that He is in control. Support raising is NOT a fun or comfortable part of our lives. We were told by so many how hard support raising would be but had no idea all that would be so hard. It is so hard to explain but when we go for weeks without our support rising, without any connections working and without anyone answering our calls, we can start to get discouraged. We also had no idea how overwhelmingly humbling and powerful it would be. GOD IS FAITHFUL, GOD IS GOOD and GOD IS IN CONTROL. God is the one doing the work and we are really just trying to keep up with Him. He is so faithful when we fail constantly. He has flooded us with opportunities currently. It feels like he is saying “why don’t you stop stressing and let me carry the burden”. I feel like every month we send an update we look back and are so amazed at all God did. We want to hurry overseas, but we have to remember God has a plan and we need to let Him lead and He does every time.
Thankful
We are currently at 49.5% We are so close to halfway! Thank you for helping us! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. We hope you did too! We are reminded even more how much we have to be thankful for. We are so thankful to each and everyone of you. Thank you to you who reads this, thank you for those who pray, thank you for those that give and thank you to those that encourage us. We appreciate you all.
