Springing Forward in Translation

Time is not the only thing that has sprung forward this month! Sergej (our soon to be team member) in Croatia has been busy at work alongside a translation team. A few months ago we shared that they had completed the Book of Luke and 50 Bible stories in audio format in Ludari (the dialect of the Roma village we are going to). Now they have created an alphabet for them and are finalizing the WRITTEN form of the Book of Luke and 50 Bible stories!!!

This means the Roma will be able to hear God’s Word in their language and read it as well! They have hopes for a literacy program as well to help them read their language. Their next step is to print and then pass out copies.

For the last few months we have been trying to fill our time sharing with others about where we feel God is leading us. We have also had the chance to video chat with our team leaders, Andy & Lim. That was such an encouraging talk! We are so excited to get over there and join them in God’s work among the Roma people!
