Davey's News October - Run the Race!

Hebrews 12:1b “let us run with endurance the race that is set before us”

This past month has been full of partnership development! This stage includes reaching out to churches, lots of phone calls, emails, and personal meetings with families and individuals. We realize this time of support raising will look more like running a marathon than a 400m dash! We are trying to be patient and trust in the Lord while being so eager to head to Croatia and work with the Roma people. Thank you for praying for our trip to Michigan! We arrived safely Wednesday evening and will be here the next two and a half weeks. Please also pray as we have the opportunity to speak to Wadham’s Baptist Church this Sunday. This September we have been having a blast teaching Children’s Church here in Kissimmee. We are doing lessons on Jesus starting his ministry. Please be praying as we continue to teach and share the gospel with the kids. Also Baby Davey is doing well, we have had some ups and downs during this pregnancy but the Lord is keeping mama and baby healthy!

As we have started support raising a lot of questions come up, here are three common questions and our answers! How much support do you have so far? We are almost to 9% support! (As pictured above) We have a long way to go still, please continue to pray for us during this stage! When are you leaving for Croatia? We can leave as soon as we hit 100% support! (The average support raising time is about two years.) How do you get support? We are supported by churches and individuals! Most of our monthly support will come from people just like you!
