Friends & Family,
We hope you had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday! March has been a month of many blessings to our family and we hope to you as well. This month we have a lot of big news to share with you. Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement.
Beau Winn Davey Has Arrived!!!
Our first big announcement is on March 11th we welcomed our son, Beau Davey to the world! Beau was born at home, weighing 9lbs and 11oz. Both mom and baby are doing well! Beau is a great baby, and we are enjoying all the cuddles! Reese loves her baby brother and is learning to adjust to being a big sister. Beau was born with a breathing problem, it is not hurting him, but we still need to get him seen by a specialist to determine if it is minor or major. It could be as easy as him outgrowing it or he could need surgery to fix it.
100% Monthly Support!!
Our next big announcement is we have all of our needed support! This has been such an amazing, difficult, and rewarding experience. If we had not gone through the support-raising process, we would not have learned some important lessons about ministry, met such encouraging people, and had experiences we can only describe as being planned by God directly. God has shown us over and over that He has His divine timing, He has a plan, and He has us, and you connected for a reason. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Whether you are a prayer warrior, a financial supporter, someone who has been a connection for us, or an advisor, we are grateful for YOU. Praise the Lord with us for His providence of 100%.
Preparing To Depart
We are in the final stages of departure. We have been filling our days with appointments: medical, passports for the kids, FBI checks…etc. Quite a few things we had to wait to do till Beau was born, we are now working on completing them all. To answer everyone’s favorite question for us, “When exactly are you leaving?” the answer is when we get all our paperwork back as well as when we see a specialist for Beau and know more about his condition!
From Our Heart
We are so thankful and relieved to reach our full support! Please pray all of the paperwork goes through smoothly as well. As we said above, Beau needs to be seen by a specialist. We have been trying to get him an appointment with an ENT since birth and it has been a whole month now. Rebekah spends hours and hours trying to get things moved along and things seem to be moving slower than a snail. We are trusting God for His timing while also doing everything we can to get Beau the help he needs. Maybe God will heal him before we go to an ENT or maybe Satan is delaying us because we are so close to leaving. Either way, we know who wins in the end and it’s ultimately in God’s hands. Please pray for wisdom for us as we navigate all these problems with doctors and insurance with Beau.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
Love,
Wesley, Rebekah, Reese & Beau Davey
