Davey’s February Update

We started February with a nice visit from our future teammates, Andy & Lim! They were back from Croatia for a little bit and came to see us and visit our church. It was so nice to discuss some finer details before heading there full-time. They helped us think through what to bring, what not to bring, arrangements and accommodations for when we get there…etc. We are looking forward to seeing them again, next time at the airport in Zagreb!

Last update we had one out of four clearances we needed. We are very happy to announce shortly after our update the rest came through! We are currently at 95% monthly support and have all our official “clearances” to book tickets when we are ready to. We still have one more meeting with finance and are expected to raise the last 5% before leaving. Our departure is planned for the end of May, but this will depend on the baby and his paperwork.

Last week we had a guest speaker at our church! Scot Keen, our former professor at Bible College! Wesley and I were so thrilled to hear him speak at our home church, it was so nice to catch up.

My family threw me a beautiful baby “sprinkle” at church which was so nice! My sister and her family surprised me, and I also got to see my brother, Quinn, whom I hadn’t seen in over a year.
