A God Who Cares

On December 31st I looked one more time at our support. I felt a weight on my shoulders, our prayer was to hit 50% monthly support by the end of 2022. We had been stuck at the 49% support point for months. We felt as if we took one step forward and two steps back. As the new year approached, I started to accept that our 50% goal would be pushed back into 2023. I told myself my doubt was just me needing to see reality. I can set goals but it is in God's timing and He has His own plan. Then God heard our prayers. He always has, and He reminds me of that constantly. We made an announcement on social media, saying we were almost to our goal, but still short. As I went about my day I got a message from a couple that wanted to help us reach that goal. I read this message and instantly wondered why I continue to forget how big our God is. More than that, I forget that a God so big can still care for two human’s tiny goals that must seem like a speck compared to His plans. This journey is all by faith and God shows us clearly when our faith starts to fail. We are so thankful for a gracious God. As we start the New Year I wanted to share this so we can all be encouraged together. God is so big and has His own plans, but He still cares for you and me. He hears our prayers and listens to our pleas. He cares for us. -R.D

January’s Goal
We decided to set BOLD & BIG goals each month! Whether it is 5 individuals at $100 a month, 10 at $50 or whatever God leads, our goal this month will be to hit $500 in monthly support. Will you pray with us for this month’s goal? Will you give?
Back On The Move
We are back on the move and currently in Michigan. Wesley’s Grandma passed away last week and we will flew to Michigan to attend her funeral yesterday. Please pray for Wesley and the whole family this week. What’s next? In the Beginning of February, we will be speaking at a church in South Carolina. Please be praying for this trip and that God would use this opportunity for Him.

Update From Croatia
We had about 110 kids attend the Christmas party clubs (5 clubs for the younger kids and 2 clubs for the older kids). The message was that Jesus came to seek and save the lost, with the illustration of the lost sheep. We prepared and handed gifts to every kid. Our big room (of the new ministry center) is almost completely finished, so this was the first time we had walls, paint, and laminate flooring. Zeljka and Serej did a little 4 part skit telling the Christmas story. It was a lot of work for the 4 of us, we definitely need help! - Andy (team leader)
Reese’s 1st Birthday
On January 5th, Reese turned 1 and we celebrated our 4th Anniversary! We cannot believe how fast a year has flown by! Reese has taught us a lot this year and has been a blessing from God. Thank you for your prayers and support! Please let us know how we can be praying for YOU!
Love,
Wesley, Rebekah & Reese Davey
