About

We are the Davey’s, we are Pioneers' missionaries working with the Roma people living in Croatia. We arrived in Croatia in July 2024, we have joined an established team and started language learning. The team we have joined has several different ministries with the Roma. Some of the ministries are; kid’s Bible clubs, summer camps, and adult Bible studies. The ultimate goal is to plant a thriving church among the Roma community. There is no full Bible in their language but a team has started translation! Phase 1 of translation has been completed as of August 2022. They now have a written alphabet in "Ludari" which is their heart language. They also completed the Book of Luke and 50 Bible events in Ludari! Please be praying as we serve God within the Roma community.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Holy Bible, written by Holy Spirit-guided men, is inerrant in every respect, and inspired. We believe the Bible is the complete, final, and authoritative revelation of God's Will and Word. We believe there is one living and true God, composed of three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus came to earth as fully God and fully man, free of sin. He was crucified, died and buried then raised from dead on the third day. His death and resurrection paid for the sins of the world so those that believe could have access to the Father. Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation, he paid the price for all of mankind’s sins. We believe salvation is through faith alone, it is a free gift from God. We believe you must be “born again”, when you believe you become a new creation in Christ, thanks to the grace of God.
